Daily Summary
It’s Done!
We did a short and fast ride to the ocean this morning. We all focused on getting there and getting it done. With an early start and some faster than normal pacing, we hit the beach right at 10:30.
The ride was fine, but the roads a bit busy. I included multiple pictures of me and the team by the ocean. The last 4 of us riding all made it safely and the 5th person who was injured a few days ago joined us for the final photo at the ocean.
While it was a long journey, it is also hard to believe it’s over now. It was an experience of a lifetime for sure. I’ll put some more detailed thoughts in a final wrap up post later.
The only other picture is of the New Hampshire state road signs. They have a face in the icon and I haven’t had a chance to look up what it means.
My 7+ week journey is now complete, and my flight home is tomorrow. I figure I’ll need a few days of rest for my body and then it will be time to figure out what to do for the rest of the summer!
