Bill Franks is the Director of the Center for Data Science and Analytics within the School of Data Science and Analytics at Kennesaw State University. In this role, he helps companies and governmental agencies pair with faculty and student resources to further research in the area of analytics and data science. He serves on the advisory boards of ActiveGraf, DataPrime, DataSeers, Kavi Global, and Quaeris. He also served on the advisory board of Aspirent until they were sold to NTT Data in 2023.
Bill's work, including roles as Chief Analytics Officer for both Teradata (NYSE: TDC) and the International Institute for Analytics (IIA), has spanned clients in a variety of industries for companies ranging in size from Fortune 100 companies to small non-profit organizations.
