Daily Summary

The Ride

This was a pretty uneventful and unremarkable ride. We went 67 miles. Roads were good, weather was good, no major hills. We knocked it out by going through a few small towns and got in early.

The only glitch was that I got yet another flat tire about 12 miles in. That’s 3 in the last week for me and 2 in 3 days after having only one issue the first 6 weeks. Hopefully I am done with that now.

The Sights

Per above, very little of note. I got a few pictures from a distance of Lake Oneida. We rode the length of it today. I also rode past Utica, which is where my uncle started his career as a sportscaster decades ago. So, that was cool.

The Hotel And Food

We’re in an older Red Roof Inn. The towels are white-ish. Enough said. They do have cheap laundry machines though and I got my final laundry done to finish the rest of the week.
